Dr. David Stone, MD, RPVI, RVT, DABVLM, is a board-certified Vein Doctor and specialist in Lymphatic Medicine at VIP Medical Group. With over 26 years of experience in clinical practice, he brings a comprehensive and structured approach to patient care, combined with a deep-rooted expertise in vascular health. At VIP Medical Group, Dr. Stone evaluates patients experiencing leg pain, swelling, heaviness, and visible veins, helping them understand the circulatory factors contributing to their symptoms. He is involved in the management of vein disease through minimally invasive treatments, including sclerotherapy and radiofrequency ablation (RFA), as part of individualized care plans designed to address both functional and cosmetic concerns. His dedication to clinical excellence has been recognized with prestigious honors such as Resident Teacher of the Year. Furthermore, his approach is guided by a core philosophy that every patient should be treated individually based upon both subjective and most importantly objective evidence, ensuring that every patient feels informed, respected, and actively involved in their treatment journey.

Dr. Stone’s clinical excellence is built upon a foundation of elite academic and surgical training. After completing his Bachelor in Science at the University of South Carolina, he earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and completed residency training in Family Medicine at Richland Memorial Hospital, where he received special recognition as the “Resident Teacher of the Year”. The result is a unique combination of expertise and a comprehensive commitment to long-term vascular health.
